Made in America? | EP 27

Hey, everybody. Welcome back to the Bolton Ebikes podcast, a place where you can learn from me, Kyle Chittock, and occasionally guests who are either customers, just like you, or maybe they're ebike experts. Maybe they're bicycle experts. You never know, but you can learn something about electric bikes guaranteed every single episode.

So welcome back today. We're going to talk about it's kind of a followup, but also, Let's just call it a part two in a series, because this is going to keep happening. It's going to be a recurring theme about where e-bikes are made and what would it take to actually make an electric bike in the United States?

In this episode, you’ll get answers to questions and topics like:

  • Why aren’t ebikes made in The United States?
  • What would it take to make an ebike completely from parts made in the US?
  • Why that isn’t something that is happening completely in the US.
  • What we found out when we researched the parts and products used.
  • Why it’s important to know why ebikes are not made in the US and how that affects you.
  • What we have coming next in the world of ebikes.
  • And so much more!

Thanks again for listening to another episode of the Bolton eBikes podcast. Once again, I'm Kyle, Chibok the owner of Bolton eBikes. And if you just want to learn about electric bikes or hear from other people, make sure to subscribe to my podcast on whatever platform you're listening on. if you're not on a major podcasting platform on your iPhone or Android or whatever device you have go to and that's where you can sign up for my email list.

  • I love your honesty and lack of greed that puts your customer and product first over making tonnes of money. You are a rare breed. Your parent must be proud.

  • You didn’t talk about brakes or cables. I can find brake rotors but not brakes.

  • hey Kyle just FYI. The audio on this recording is really choppy making it a tough listen. Might be my device but I did pause to buffer. Cheers. Thanks for the content!
