  • About pumps, and whether to carry a pump on your bike ride:
Doesn’t it work to simply fill your fat tires with a goop that seals the flat tire from the inside?
This podcast describes a magic trick of finding a hole, removing a tube enough to patch it, and getting the repaired tube stuffed back in—all without removing the hub…? I mean, did I hear that right?
The video on that, may I suggest, should include you in a top hat, …ready to pull a rabbit out.
    Zip ties. And, water.
Two pieces of good advice, things to carry. Also unexpected.
See you next week, Kyle. There’s something addicting about you and your casts,
can’t put my finger on it, is it your voice? I dunno…but it is straight up fun.

  • I’ve been running Tannus Razor blades on my commuter bike for a year now. Love them! Goatheads just provide more traction like studs. With no air they can’t go flat. The Tannus Armor is made of the same stuff. I have ordered a set for my Rad Rover 5. Looking forward to your torture test!

  • Tannus Tire Amour is great on my 26 in Maxxis Downhill tires on my landsailor’s 26 in solid disc aluminum wheels. I use a slightly smaller tube and can get the same low rolling resistance with only 35 psi air pressure up to about 70 mph (5x wind speed). I plan to use the Tannus system in my 26 inch mtn bike tires.

  • Great podcast Kyle. At my age if I breakdown water top tool in the list and me phone. lol

  • Always informative. Look forward to you testing the Tannus Armour and I’ll be on the lookout for when you have the electric pumps in stock
