Actually, I know you will.

I'm Jessica, part of the fantastic team at Area 13, and as you may have seen on YouTube with the Area 13 ebikes channel and on episode 37 of this ebikes podcast, ebike laws are a hot topic. Let's get into more details about some really important and recent news.

This is the Area 13 Ebikes Podcast.

In today’s episode you’ll learn more about:

  • What are the most recent updates from the US Forest Service related to ebikes?
  • What do these regulations mean to you?
  • Have they changed from the last review?
  • What other organizations are involved in bringing ebikes to the new landscapes?
  • How can you help drive more change to expand access for ebikes?
  • Share more about where you like to ride your ebike and you might get featured.
  • Where can you ride your ebike and what is being done to evaluate future requests for expanded access on these trails.
  • Where you can find out more about recreational activities in your area.
  • And so much more!

If you have any suggestions for future podcasts. You can always email us at info at Area 13 Ebikes Dot Com. And if you just want to share how much fun you're having on those trails or how much you're learning from our content, feel free to do that too.

Thanks so much for listening.

  • Jessica,
Great job presenting important information about the USFS position. I ride my ebikes an average of 500 miles per month and most of that riding is on motor vehicle restricted trails. I have had throttle equipped ebikes in the past and prefer non-throttle, mid-drive bikes that can fit in the Class 1 designation. That gives me the greatest assurance that I will be able to continue to ride the trails I love both here and in the coastal regions of California where I also frequently ebike. I hope to hear more podcasts from you,
    Robert Kyhn
